HFCS – high fructose corn syrup
The way that HFCS - High Fructose Corn Syrup “punches holes” in the gut wall allowing toxic matter into the blood stream makes it a good candidate for producing Chemically Induced Lupus Symptoms In Women.
HFCS – High fructose corn syrup and other artificial sweeteners should be illegal. They are that deadly.
The problem is that these artificially produced sweeteners do not kill quickly. If they did, there would be an uproar. Even businesses would be in an uproar. About the only true crime you can commit in corporate America is killing customers quickly.
Unfortunately, killing people slowly, or triggering Immune Reactions like, Arthritis, MS, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus… and causing untold suffering in the process is not a real crime in corporate USA, and they fund the FDA.
The corporate world should have absolutely no connection with or to an organisation which is supposed to protect the people from that unscrupulous corporate world.
HFCS – High Fructose Corn Syrup – Now called Corn Sugar to cause even more confusion.
Harry Truman said “If you can’t convince them, confuse them” and doubt and confusion are the currency of deception that is being used skilfully through massive print and television advertising campaigns by the Corn Refiners Associations in their attempt to dispel the “myth” that HFCS – High Fructose Corn Syrupis harmful.
They are even trying to re-name hfcs – High Fructose Corn Syrup as “corn sugar” to increase the confusion and to make it sound more natural and innocent to the consumers.
Even when used in moderation HFCS, High Fructose Corn Syrup – Corn Sugar is a major cause of heart disease, obesity, cancer, dementia, liver failure, lupus symptoms in women, tooth decay and it goes on.
The goal of the corn industry is to call into question any claim of harm from consuming high fructose corn syrup, HFCS, and to confuse and deflect by calling their product natural “corn sugar”. That’s like calling tobacco in cigarettes “natural herbal medicine”.
HFCS – High Fructose Corn Syrup can trigger body-wide inflammation, obesity and probably trigger immune response like Lupus Symptoms In Women…
With Beta 1,3-D Glucan.
It Stimulates White Blood Cell Production and
Enhances the body’s Repair & Renewal Systems.
These are the reasons why you should stay way from any product containing high fructose corn syrup – and why it may kill you.
A little biochemistry.
Regular cane or beet sugar (sucrose) is made of two simple-sugar molecules bound tightly together - glucose and fructose in equal amounts.
The enzymes in your digestive tract must break down the single natural sucrose molecule into the two simple-sugar molecules – glucose and fructose before they are absorbed into the body. This “digestion” slows down and regulates the rate at which the fructose reaches the liver.
HFCS – High Fructose Corn Syrup is made up of glucose and fructose, not the same as sucrose, in a 50-50 ratio, with a strong bond between the two simple-sugar molecules, but a 55-45 fructose to glucose ratio as separate simple sugars in an unbound form.
Since there is no chemical bond between these two simple sugars then they are not “regulated” by the digestive system… as no digestion is required and they are rapidly absorbed into your blood stream. This High-Speed Absorbtion plays a central role in making you very ill.
How Can High Speed Absorbtion Make You So Ill?
Fructose goes right to the liver and triggers lipogenesis (the production of fats like triglycerides and cholesterol) which is why it is the major cause of liver damage in this country and causes a condition called “fatty liver”, which affects 70 million people.
Another problem with HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup, or Corn Sugar is that the rapidly absorbed glucose triggers big spikes in insulin – our body’s major fat storage hormone.
Both these features of HFCS – High Fructose Corn Syrup lead to increased metabolic disturbances that drive increases in appetite, weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, dementia, lupus symptoms in women and more.
But there is still another sting in the tail…
Research done at the Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute found that free fructose from HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup requires more energy to be absorbed by the gut and soaks up two phosphorous molecules from ATP (our body’s energy source).
This depletes the energy fuel source (or ATP) in our gut, which is required to maintain the integrity of our intestinal lining… compromising the strong bond that cements each intestinal cell to another. It is this bond between the cells which prevents food and bacteria from “leaking” between the cells and across (through) the intestinal membrane.
In other words, high doses of free fructose have been proven to literally punch holes in the intestinal lining, allowing nasty byproducts of toxic gut bacteria and partially digested food proteins to enter your blood stream and trigger the inflammation that we know is at the root of obesity, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, dementia and accelerated ageing.
These toxins entering the blood stream and triggering an immune reaction could also be just one of the many “unknown” causes of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
Why doesn’t Natural Fructose cause metabolic illneses and immune problems like MS, Arthritis and Lupus? Naturally occurring fructose in fruit is part of a complex of nutrients and fiber and doesn’t exhibit the same biological effects as the free high fructose doses found in “corn sugar”.
One Last Point – HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup contains contaminants including mercury that are not regulated or measured by the FDA.
HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup – Corn Sugar often contains toxic levels of mercury because of chlor-alkali products used in its manufacturing…Poisoned sugar is certainly not “natural”.
When HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup is run through a chemical analyzer or a chromatograph, strange chemical peaks show up that are not glucose or fructose.
What are they? Who knows? This certainly calls into question the purity of this processed form of super sugar.
The exact nature, effects and toxicity of these “funny” compounds have not been fully explained – The FDA should be protecing us from the presence of untested chemical compounds in our food supply, especially when the HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup – Corn Sugar contaminated food product comprises up to 15-20 percent of the average American’s daily calorie intake.
People Are Getting FAT and ILL
Surely, the onus should be on these manufacturers to prove that a product is not causing any harm to anyone, rather than ordinary people having to prove that a particular product is causing a particular problem.
This is where the FDA should be protecting the public from the corporate world’s interests… not the corporate world from the public. Perhaps then the huge “sickness” industry would become a “health” industry and illnesses like Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, MS, Arthritis, Obesity, Diabetes, Cancer, Heart Disease, Dementia and Accelerated Ageing would become a distant memory.
Why have food producers been so keen
to use HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup?
Basically, without government intervention it is the only way that they can stay in business against the competion.
Fructose is sweeter than glucose, and so HCFS, High Fructose Corn Syrup or Corn Sugar is both sweeter and much cheaper than regular sugar (sucrose) to such an extent that it allowed for the size of an average soda to go from an 8 ounce can up to 20 ounce can without significantly affecting the cost to make it.
Once one manufacturer used it instead of sugar then they all had to follow just to stay in business. The fact that they were inflicting the huge human costs of systemic lupus, increased obesity, diabetes and chronic disease does not come into it!
Without some form of government regulation against these products, all the manufacturers have to follow each other down the path of “cheaper to manufacture” One manufacturer trying to sell an 8 ounce soda for the same price as their competitor is selling an “esentially the same” 20 ounce soda – will be out of business in the blink of an eye.
