Lupus Sufferers Tend To Be Allergic People!
Allergies are very common in Lupus sufferers; they can vary from being mild to severe. Allergies seem to be much worse during a Lupus flare and as the Lupus is brought back under control the allergies tend to become milder.
Many Lupus symptoms in women find that they have allergic reactions to drugs containing sulphonamides and antibiotics such as penicillin, they may also have a severe reaction to insect bites.
Some Lupus sufferers find they are sensitive or allergic to certain foods, so it is a good idea to keep a food diary with a record of any symptoms developed to help pinpoint which foods may be a problem, at the same time remembering to eat a healthy balanced diet.
The symptoms of an allergic reaction can vary from sufferer to sufferer from being a simple rash, joint pain, swelling, digestive pain to inducing a Lupus flare.
